YOU can help in the formation of this battalion under the leadership of Colonel Eyal Russo, and contribute to winning this war.

While they are at the frontlines, WE are behind them - strong, giving, donating, and forming a united front for our soldiers.

How can you help? You can fortify the battalion by:

  • Donating towards the urgent needs of the whole battalion.

  • Each of the 4 divisions needs $25,000 to cover their basic requirements.

How do you raise a battalion in the middle of a war?

THE DETAILS

Sadly, the war is continuing in Israel and there is an urgent need to call up more reservists.

Therefore, a new battalion is being created to fight in Gaza and the North. Netzach Yehuda* (religious) reservists are being drafted into this new battalion under the auspices of Chativat HaShomer and is called “Magen David” {Shield of David}. The battalion is comprised of 4 military companies, and totals approximately 500 soldiers, including officers.

Yachad Netzach means “united we will be victorious”.

On Tuesday, Jan 16, 2024 the soldiers arrived at CAMP TZALIM for a month of training, and from there they will be deployed immediately to one of the war zones, according to the national needs at that time (Gaza and the North)

Presently the officers and staff are undergoing training.
