עקר ההתבודדות והשיחה בינו לבין קונו בשלמות הוא
The essence of hitbodedut (solitude)
and the siach (conversation)
between him and his Creator is complete.

Rav Kook teaches
creativity is not a luxury,
not a talent or pastime,
but a spiritual calling.
A stepping in.
To create
is to return to the Source.
To shape beauty in this world
is to remember who I am
a spark from the One
who is constantly renewing the world
with every breath,
every dawn.
When I touch that creative pulse,
I touch the infinite within myself.
Once,
we stood wary before civilizations
like Greece and Rome
those who bowed before beauty,
who worshipped aesthetics and art.
And we, Yehudim had
to protect the purity of truth,
so we held back.
But now we have stepped up to a
new leve, a ruach acheret,
We are no longer have the fear to dive in…
We no longer sever ourselves
from the holy movement
of our own hands.
Now,
we remember and reclaim who we are.
a revelation of divine illumination
with care,
with longing for beauty—
I’m reaching
not for perfection,
but for Presence.
Each aesthetic desire
to make my living room beautiul
to make a Shabbos tablescape shimmer
to align colors in my home,
to write, to sing, to shape—
every artistic creation
is a quiet yearning
to be in divine relationship
and builds a divine relationship.
with consciousness of this light of my
longing for beauty / tiferet / harmony
in my home
I’m reaching
not for perfection,
but for Kedusha / Presence.
Beauty
is revealed in the world of malchut
a revelation of Hashem’s light
the Me’orei HaOhr — מאורי האור
The lights of the Light.
The glimmers that spill from the Source.
Not one candle,
but many—
all lit by Him.
Every project, book, poem, song,
every soulful arrangement,
is not about me—
but about Him,
shining through me.
When I go straight—
Yeshar E-l ישר-אל
with temimut / simplicity
I am in alignment…
I am so beautiful.
Because my beauty
is not decoration—
It is light.
And light reveals.
And light heals.
And light is who we are
when we stop hiding.

וִיהִ֤י ׀ נֹ֤עַם אֲדֹנָ֥י אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ עָ֫לֵ֥ינוּ
“May the favor of Hashem be upon us;
let the work of our hands prosper…”
—Tehillim 90:17
Moshe gave this blessing to the people
upon the completion of the Mishkan—
a sacred space crafted
through gifted hands,
generous hearts,
divine design.
And now—
we too are builders in a sacred time.
We are in a time of war.
A time when we walk the battlefront—
with our bodies,
with our breath,
with our hearts open
and our hands required.
Now, more than ever,
we need our hands to be skillful.
To tend.
To heal.
To stitch wounds,
emotional and physical.
We need our hands
to write poetry,
to cradle silence,
to craft beauty.
We need our hands
to hold other hands.
To anchor the trembling.
To hold firm the souls
Who feel they might break.
We need Hands that say:
I am with you.
You are not alone.
You are heard.
You are loved.
This is a time to bless the work of our hands.
To return to sacred creativity.
To let our hands
become vessels
of Divine favor.
And so we enter the Shaar LNeshama, the gate of the Soul
MEDITATION FOR PARSHAT BALAK
A conversation between me and my Creator
בינו לבין קונו
What is beautiful for you?
What draws you near?
Not with noise—
but with stillness.
What calms the pulse,
slows the breath,
entrains your frequency
to something eternal?
What pulls you in?
What opens your heart?
Do you allow Hashem’s creation
to enter you,
to channel through you?
Not just seen—
but received
as a mekabelet,
a holy vessel?
Open your eyes…
not just wide, but inward.
See the beauty in the world.
Focus on something in nature.
Stop.
Breathe.
Hitkashrut v’hitkalelut.
Connect. Merge. Be held.
A flower. A stone.
Stare at it.
Feel its pulse.
Become one with it.
And know… it matters.
The roshei teivot of Balak – בלק –
spell out:
בינו לבין קונו
Between him and his Creator.
This is the essence of hitbodedut
—Likutei Moharan 99.
Breathe…
and connect to your neshama,
to the Source
who is placing the air inside you.
Fill with love.
Between me and my Creator.
I expand
when I remember how to love—
Not by needing,
but by giving.
Not by taking,
but by glowing.
When I can be a blessing—
because I already am.
When I am strong,
as a Bat Yisrael,
created as His daughter,
I climb straight to Him:
Yashar-El.
Open your eyes
and Look again at the flower…
Breath
What is its inner movement?
Where is it pulling me?
What inside me shifts
when I let beauty / Tiferet—
do her holy work?
In that holy gaze,
I rise / ratzo
to the next rung on the ladder,
a step higher
toward “Yisrael.”
And then,
I descend and return—shov
with the light and holy chutzpa…
to create a pomegranate- blue,
to color a sea lion- green,
Expanding my vision
with an Eye
that sees what is hidden.
to be a Creative
to become in affinity of form
hashvaat hatzura
with the Creator
I am creating my higher self
with each breath
feeling my chius / lifeforce
I breathe
as the One
who placed breath within me.
I speak—medaber—
and converse with the One
who placed speech within me.
----
Rav Samson Raphael Hirsch explains:
Siach—שיח—
is not just conversation,
but the inner blossoming of the soul.
Where ruach and feeling
grow like roots underground.
Gathering. Soaking. Becoming.
I pray
tefillah—התפלל—
Constantly while my self seeps
in temimut and purity
drinking from the Source
of all spiritual life.
Watering the yalda ketana / the little girl inside
with Siach
those raw and tender parts of the soul—
making space
for new life to blossom.
“I am the Siach. Without fear of the umcomfortable nigglies in my chest
”yes I feel you. You make yourself very known to me
I feel uncomfortable
light headed
about to break into a sweat.
I enter
Between the breath and the world.
Between silence and sound.
Between him and his Maker.
