Rachel Leah Weiman, an artist with deep expertise in both color theory and Torah, introduced herself and shared her background in art education, emphasizing the spiritual dimension of creativity. She presented her groundbreaking course, Creative Hitbodedut & Breath Painting—a unique integration of art, Jewish teachings, and color theory. Believing this to be the first workshop of its kind, she explained that its focus is not on artistic technique or perfection, but on inner listening and the expression of one’s inner light through color. Throughout the session, Rachel Leah led participants through a series of meditations and painting exercises designed to connect breath, emotions, and spiritual energy with creative expression. The workshop emphasized personal growth, spiritual symbolism, and the creation of artwork as a vessel for soul connection and insight.

🩵We will not be the same. But we can be whole.
We can become vessels.
We can bring light. Together.

Kavana for This Workshop:

We’ve emerged from Operation Rising Lion, yet the echoes still move through us. The reverberations continue—felt in the body, in the breath, in our dreams. And yet, something deeper is also awakening. Something inside has shifted. We can’t return to what was.

But in this shift lies a powerful opening: We’re being invited to reconnect, to rise with new purpose, and to create from a deeper, truer place, with our soul’s voice.

Through breath, color, movement, and Torah, we’ll tap into our inner vitality and uncover a wellspring of renewal… breath, paint, and creative hitbodedut, we gather for this transformational workshop.

What is Creative Hitbodedut?

In a world full of conflict and noise, Creative Hitbodedut is a return to presence, prayer, and your inner light. It’s where ratzon—your deep will—and hishtokekut—your yearning—meet breath, brush, and soul.

Painting as Presence

This is nochachut—a practice of being fully here. Painting becomes a way to transform inner chaos into healing color.

Painting as Prayer

This is hitbodedut with your hands. A moving meditation. A sacred doing that leads to deep being.

Breath and Brush as Spiritual Vessel

You’ll learn to paint with your breath. To awaken love, Divine light, and spiritual flow. To create a shiviti—a visual kavana that aligns your body and soul.

Returning to Shechina

Through this process, you reconnect with malchut—your inner royalty. You return to your center. The place in you that remembers how to feel, how to create, and how to become whole again.

This is the new beginning. And it begins with you.
