ColorsKislev
Colors of Kislev · Rising in the Dark is a 3-part Torat HaTzeva BreathPainting series that gently guides women through the inner landscape of Kislev — the circle of Samech, the dream-consciousness of Sheinah, and the awakening of the Ohr HaGanuz, the Hidden Light. Through Torah, breath, movement, and intuitive color work, participants soften tension, reconnect to inner clarity, and allow light to rise slowly from within the darkness. This series offers grounding, emotional spaciousness, and a creative, healing pathway back to calm and alignment.

Session 1
ExplorE how the 4 colors hidden in a candle flame—described in the Zohar and expanded upon by the Arizal—reflect the inner unfolding of divine light in the month of Kislev. Through candle-gazing and slow, intentional breathwork, the group attuned to the movement of hidden light rising from darkness, the core spiritual pulse of Kislev.

Session 2
The session explored the mystical light of Kislev through Torah, color theory, meditation, and creative expression. Participants learned how the hidden light (Ohr HaGanuz) of Kislev reveals itself through the interplay of darkness and illumination in both the psyche and the palette. Participants practiced grounding through a “tree meditation” and reflected on insights from last week’s candle-flame color practice.

Session 3
Kislev is a time when the Sha’ar of the Ohr HaGanuz begins to open. She led women into the place where light is born from within the darkness itself. Using color, breath, and intuitive movement, we explored how or ha’p’nimi (אוֹר הַפְּנִימִי — inner light) emerges precisely through our honest meeting with choshech (חֹשֶׁךְ — darkness) and through the circular, womb-like support of Samech (ס).
