Not only around us, but within us.

I want to share words from my Rabbanit, Devora Benyamin, whose Torah I hold very close.

Rosh Chodesh is renewal / חידוש
The head of the months
It is certainly a very great renewal / חידוש גדול
Even existence / הוויה itself is born anew / נולדת מחדש within it
After the gestation days / ימי העיבור of winter
Nature / הטבע awakens
It fills with the conversation of the field / שיח השדה, speaking
The entire world / עולם is renewing itself / מתחדש
Rabbi Nachman adds to this
That renewal / התחדשות is an essential foundation / עיקר גדול in his Torah
Do not be old / אל תהיה זקן
At every moment Hashem renews the world anew
בכל רגע ורגע ה’ מחדש את העולם
Rosh Chodesh Nissan / ראש חודש ניסן is the new year for kings / ראש השנה למלכים
Not only nature / הטבע
But also history / ההיסטוריה itself is renewed / מתחדשת
And even the Divine Will / הרצון האלוקי is renewed / מתחדש

ויודעים את סוד ההתחדשות בימים אלו
